The Seniors Ministry’s purpose is multi-faceted:

• Provide opportunities for our seniors to service in other church ministries
• Organize activities both internal and external for our senior members
• Promote fellowship among seniors, young adults and children
• Ensure that senior members are supported during health issues

To coin a phrase often used for children, we want to make sure that no senior is left behind.

With over 175 senior members in our congregation, the senior ministry has a wealth of Christian experience available for sharing with our church and community.  There is a renewed excitement that our seniors can not only provide sound guidance for the younger generation but also have a fun time doing it.

  We are always open to suggestions for speakers and events.  So don’t be shy and let us know your ideas. 

Many of our seniors are volunteering outside our church (e.g., helping hands; veterans hospital; prison ministries; etc.).  If you have a suggestion for a service project that we can  perform as a senior group, please contact Dave at the church by calling 855-1616 or e-mail davec@bellavistachristian.com.
